My week has been filled with reading, fishing, watching the horses in the pasture, sitting for hours playing with puppies, listening to a well put together playlist, and indulging in good ol homestead cooking! I have done only what I have wanted to do, and no more!
Everyone should have a do-nothing-getaway once in awhile. Even if it is only for a day or two, how wonderful it is to make your own decisions based solely on what YOU want to do, and enjoying the little pleasures that you so rarely get to indulge.
I have only went out once with my camera - I made a vow to myself that I wasn't going to take pictures of anything I felt like I had to take pictures of. I promised myself to photograph only when the inspiration struck!

Nice to get some news from you. Did you go with Adam? I love Virginia too and this post was a good one. Yesterday we celebrated Katia`s 3rd birthday. It is hard to think she is already three.
